How do rangers deal with Warriors
Specifically in RA and TA, once a warriors sticks on me, its near impossible to get rid of them or contribute to the team's attack ona certain char. Kiting only works so well and ocassionally that warrior gets hits in as I try to stay in the vicinity of my team so that I can get some help from them. Pin down and poison arrow can slow them for a little but then they find me again and continue the chase or its 2 of them and their on me. I tried using throw dirt, but I am not sure if thats better than whirling D and some ppl in the forums say stances are worthless if you kite. Any advice is appreciated!

Pin Down
Crippling Shot
Throw Dirt
Use Crippling Shot & Apply Poison instead of Poison Arrow. You'll get a much better return on your investment of your elite slot.

Since a Ranger can't beat a Warrior in a direct damage dealing contest, you'll need to look to other means to survive. luckily, a Ranger is well equipped to defend himself from melee assaults, with snares(Cripshot, traps), blinds(Dust Trap, Throw Dirt) and evasive stances(take your pick).

Ultimate warrior hate for RA,
Throw dirt
Whirling defense
Apply poison
pindown
savage shot
Oath shot [e]
Troll
Rez
high exp needed. Oath shot for continuous Dirt or whirling, works a treat
(i used this build in the factions preview and faction farmed newbie Assasins)

Isn't carrying Throw Dirt and Pin Down a bit overkill? Especially when you add a defensive skill to it? That's basically all anti-warrior and not much better at anything else.
I would say bring either one and something to counteract conditions put on you (e.g. Plague Touch, Mend Ailment, Purge Conditions), and kite them to death.

Or save yourself a load of skill slots, take Crippling Shot and Apply Poison. Keep as many warriors as you want crippled, and just kite them. Then you have the slots left on your bar to actually do something else.

if you really want to blind, you might as well save yourself the elite slot and bring throw dirt.

You will also end up blinding yourself for a lot of the time.
Again, a ranger with Crippling Shot and Apply Poison should be all the warrior shut down you need.

I like to throw dirt, barbed trap, poison arrow, savage or dist shot their heal sig. If it's RA chances are they wont have a monk and the bleeding and poison will get to them. Blind will make them ineffective so that you can lay that trap and distract that heal sig once they should degen to death.

if the warrior is a w/n and you choose to bring throw dirt, be sure to follow throw dirt with a quick distracting shot incase they are using plague touch. these things are quite common now in gvg, and should start to grow in numbers in RA and TA soon.

whirling defense has a 60 second recharge. distortion has a 5 second recharge. basically, don't bring whirling defense unless you can find a way to recharge it very quickly.

I say let them chase you, throw on storm chaser run a little bit and shoot,
run some more and shoot, if he follows you away from the battle then he
is not doing anything, the reason I say this is because it has happened to me,
I chased this ranger around, then realized this is a trick, I think......
